Not all Salads are for dieters. Here is a favourite of mine that’s delicious, healthy and filling! Along with my special sesame seed dressing it’s also different.
Take a salmon steak, sprinkle with sea salt and grill under a medium flame. If desired, squeeze half a lemon over the fish just before it’s cooked.
For the salad:-
- Green leaf mixed salad
- Red Pepper
- Spring Onion
- Chopped flat leaf parsley
For the dressing:-
- 1 tbsp Toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp balsamic dressing
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Mix the ingredients together until smooth.
Pile the salad in the center of the plate, drizzling the dressing generously over. Place the salmon steak on the top.
Serve with toasted wholemeal pitta bread, cut in half and buttered.
Delicious, nutritious and full of flavour.
