A Day at School

“A Day at School is a personalised book for Primary School classes Reception to Yr 2. The book features ALL the children, staff and even mascots and class pets. We take your digital photos, cut out the heads and make them into the lovable story characters, adding the names too. This fun, rhyming story of A Day at School is a winner in helping children settle in their new classroom setting and engage with their new friends and teachers, a unique memory of the child school year, and a favourite at bedtime.

The author, Lizzie Sand, would happily come to your school to share the book  with the children.

How it works

For us to make the book, all we need is a photo & first name of the children and teachers/staff you wish to include (don’t forget the mascot!). You can send them using our secure online form. Children who can’t have their photo taken can have lookalike illustrated characters, so no one misses out on being represented in the book.

With a minimum of 6 orders, the book comes at £8.70.
Some schools just pass on the cost to parents, others use it as a fundraiser by selling it to the parents for £10.99 (not much more expensive than a tea towel and they’re getting so much more!). A memory book children will cherish for ever.

If you prefer to buy a single book for your library, then the cost will be £40. As you can image, it takes some work to cut out faces from up to 40 children and staff, place them throughout the book and add their names to the story.

NOTE: We comply with data protection law. We cannot and will not use the photos for anything else than the sole making of the book. Once the book is made, the photos are deleted. We do not ask at any time for any information specific to the children such as surname, age or address. All we need is a first name and a photo of each child.
